TERROR ON ICE OR SPINNING WHEELS!

Lately we noticed, that incentive clients, corporate meeting guests and other up-scale visitors to our shores want more than superb dinners, excellent hotels and good sightseeing tours during their stay. The organizers or sponsors would like to offer their guests events or visits to be memorable and smashing.  An experience one talks about for a while!

That doesn’t put us on the spot: Visit America has lots of unique activities, daring events, outrageous venues and scary outings to propose.  The only problem is, if everyone does these activities, how can they stay unequalled?

Here are a few unique ideas that should stay special for a while:

*Snowmobile touring trough the Northern USA and Canada in winter. There are thousands of miles of groomed snow “highways” to explore, lodges to stay at and restaurants to visit. We can put together packages for one day or many days!

*Scare the jeepers out of your clients by signing them up to “luge” classes or a “taxi” run on a bobsled.  Rushing down a more than one Kilometer ice chute at close to150km/h will get even the most jaded guest’s attention; available in the winter months at 4 locations.

*Slip-sliding with spiked ice-bikes on lakes, rivers or skating rink. A unique sport combining cycling geeks with ice-time! If the dates of the groups stay match, they could even participate in local bicycle races.

*Rock-climbing (on real rock walls!) with an instructor for half a day or full day can be organized year round. The location is a couple of hours outside Manhattan!  Neat!

*Kayaking on the Hudson River, supervised, starting from one of Manhattan’s piers, will give you a unique perspective of New York. Kayaking is a reasonably priced, unique experience.

*Go-Kart racing, an attractive sport for many, it lures participants to the tracks. Since the karts go hardly over 60km/h, are well maintained and of recent vintage the sport is safe for all members of a group. Most major metropolitan areas have a race track, select your area!

*Learn to hang on a Trapeze; move on a Trapeze; survive on a Trapeze. You may not want to become a Circus artist but you may get the same thrill as one!

These are a few of the many possible activities we can organize for your group. Naturally, we can also put together “tame” adventures such as sailing, off-shore or in harbors, hiking in State or National Parks, bicycle tours in cities or the country side.

Tell us how wild your group wants to go!

We know that summer has not even started and to talk about ice and snow is “climatologically” not correct.  But, plan we must and the cold season is only 6 months away!

Attend a “Winter Festival”. Hundreds of cities throughout Canada and the USA have “Winter Festival’s” in late winter, celebrating the cold season with ice sculptures, arts-and craft markets, music etc

Sincerely,

B Fischer
