ROBOTS RUNNING ON GREEN ENERGY!

Are your engineering clients in need of a creative incentive tour?  Do you

have to propose something "future oriented" for the corporate meetings to be

held in the USA?  After visiting Wall Street, do your financial wizard clients

wish to see new industries and check on investment possibilities?

Pittsburgh may be the answer to all the above!  This city was the richest

city in America 100 years ago thanks to Messrs. Carnegie, Frick, Mellon, Heinz,

Westinghouse and others. Unfortunately, all that successful industry

concentrated in a small area, created major air pollution. With the collapse

of the US steel industry after the 1950's, Pittsburgh decided to change things:

The city is now considered one of the "cleanest cities in the country" and was

voted as one of "the most livable cities of the nation".

A big part of Pittsburgh's new success is its support of new industries such

as biomedical, solar energy, wind energy and robotics.  There are so many

of these industries present in Pittsburgh that the "Wall Street Journal" called

the city "Roboburgh"!

Robots are produced to make life easier for handicapped people, such as

"bow leg", face recognition and "EyeVision" systems; fully automated strawberry

plant harvesting robots and unmanned off-the-road vehicles are being tested and

produced.

PPG Industries not only manufactures sun reflecting curtain wall glass,

insulated glass but also fiberglass needed in wind turbine’s blades used to

capture wind energy to create electricity. PPG, also famous for its production

of specialty paints, is the leader in scratch resistant paints used on the latest luxury

cars.

Several up and coming innovative companies in the Pittsburgh area are

steadily improving the technology, yield and efficiency of solar panels.

Meanwhile Westinghouse is trying to re-engineer the existing technology,

to make nuclear power more acceptable.

Naturally, there is enough first class culture and entertainment in Pittsburgh

to spoil your next "Future oriented" VIP travelers: Visit the Andy Warhol

Museum, use the largest "green" convention center in the world, try the "57"

tastes of Heinz (of Ketchup fame!) or enjoy a world class Pittsburgh Symphony

orchestra performance.

As we said, Pittsburgh is big in new industries and rich in art and culture.

Contact us, humans - no robot will handle your request, swiftly and efficiently.

Sincerely,
