WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO DO IN NEW YORK CITY?

You and your clients have been in New York many times; you know this city better than many others.  So, is there anything we can offer and propose to you and your clients that is new, different, exciting?  You bet we can!

- A guided exploration of the “Brooklyn Bridge” including its construction and a visit to the surrounding area of the bridge on the Brooklyn side may interest your clients.

-Would a visit and lecture at the “Chinese Scholar’s Garden” do it? One of the few traditionally designed Chinese Gardens outside China.

-Visit the “Science Barge” on the Hudson River. Explore this floating, sustainable urban farm powered by solar, wind and bio-fuels. View their production. Their harvest helps feed the needy!

-How about having a drink, on a nice summer day, on a sandy beach across from Manhattan. This Queens beach is only 100meters long, clean, there is no swimming, but the location is priceless!

-Devoted to the art of the Himalayas, Manhattans “Rubin Museum of Art” has, on six floors, one of the prime collections of Eastern art; an ideal place for a reception or just to explore.

-Discuss techniques and materials with the glassblowers at this Glass studio. Even some hands-on experience is possible!

-Row a canoe along a canal in the middle of the city. Explore the tidal creek, the urban waterways and see wildlife not far from skyscrapers.

-Islands of Manhattan, such as Roosevelt or Governors, can be explored or visited with an architectural historian or rented in part and used for special projects.

-Red Hook, Brooklyn: Explore the Waterfront Museum, Showboat Barge and MA Whalen a tanker, Civil-War area Warehouses and piers. Visit the “Sunset Garden Center” and view New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty from an unusual angle. This area is large and varied enough to permit any activity from a simple visit to a reception or day long activities.

These are just a few ideas of new or unusual activities, venues or places to visit, to explore or to book for your reception or party.

Tell us your client’s needs and wishes and we will try to match it with an appropriate venue.
