HOW GREEN IS YOUR VALLEY?

Now, that “Global Warming” moved from an “unproven scare” to more main stream acceptance, everyone talks “green”.  We have come a long way!  At “Visit America Inc”, we always believed in conservation and renewable energy and planned and operated our first “Solar Energy Study Group” of 38 European scientists, engineers and state officials in 1974. So, it’s time to offer an updated proposal of a “Renewable Energy” study tour and expand it to a “Renewable Energy and Materials” tour!

Your group could visit the large solar-power installation in the Arizona desert or the 170 hectares solar plant in Boulder City NV or the wind turbine installed in Hull MA, and Cape Cod, all representing “Alternative Energy”. A visit to Vermont, a state totally committed to environmental issues is a must. Vermont houses wind-powered companies, environmental engineering companies, a Center for Emerging Technologies, the Vermont Environmental Consortium and lots of dairy farmers committed to green energy with “cow power”.

Venture capitalists, specializing in the energy industries on the West Coast, are financing entrepreneurs, ready to test their new energy ideas. A lot of exciting “energy” could come out of a meeting with them! Let’s meet with the people of Timberland, Stonyfield Farm, VeriFlora, etc and check-out what they are working on to keep their companies “green” and environmentally sound, from company policies to product labeling.

Other must visits for such a tour are the various stations on the “Bioplastics” scene. Cellphones, disposable knives and spoons: car parts, packaging material and bio-plastic bags are studied in Universities and fabricated in factories.

All in all we can put together a tour on either the East or West coast of America, one covering the middle or one for the whole continent!

Tell us your client’s interest, his budget and the length of the tour and we will send you a proposal.

Happy “green” spring!
