HOW TO SCARE THE “JEEPERS” OUT OF YOUR GROUPS…

Indians were known to strike fear into settlers trying to cross their territory or trying to take their land. Fast rides on their horses, war-paint, shooting and strange chanting sounds did the trick. But, that was a while ago!

Now the Hualapai Indian tribe in Arizona, after spending millions of Dollars, is ready to scare the “jeepers” out of your passengers (or you) with something benign but truly scary:  In a few days, at “Grand Canyon West”, the “Skywalk” will open to the public. Skywalk is a semicircular, cantilevered glass walkway, kind of a glass balcony sticking out 25meters from a cliff side and placed 1300meters above the Colorado River. Your clients will feel the excitement as they walk “in the air” over the River. This totally unique centerpiece of “Grand Canyon West” includes a visitor’s center, a museum, a movie theater and several restaurants and is part of the Hualapai tribe’s half a million hectars Reservation located east of Grand Canyon National Park. Part of the visit may include Grand Canyon West’s Indian Village, with authentic dwellings built by 5 tribes; local artisans demonstrating their crafts at the Hualapai Market; the Ranch, a Western town with wagon and horseback rides along the canyons’ rim; and the one-day whitewater-rafting trips through the canyon.

Tell us when you want to get scared!

PS: you have the possibility to visit Indians or their reservations in every state or province of North America. They may be less scary but wonderful none-the-less.
